The “Box” Method – Maximum Filtration, Minimum Mess Unlike traditional UGF plates that cover the entire tank bottom, this Acrylic UGF Box contains the substrate in a neat, removable unit. This is the preferred method for many advanced breeders because it allows you to change or cycle the soil without tearing down the whole aquarium.

Please Note: This is a pre-owned item. However, every unit has been meticulously cleaned and fully sterilized to ensure it is 100% safe for your shrimp. It offers the same biological performance as a brand-new unit at a lower cost.
