The Gentle Giant of Sulawesi
The Orange Poso Rabbit Snail (Tylomelania sp.) is a showstopper in any hard-water aquarium. Native to Lake Poso in Indonesia, they are loved for their vibrant, glowing orange skin that contrasts beautifully against dark substrate.
What You Are Buying: You will receive a juvenile to young adult snail, approximately 1.0 to 1.5 inches in length. These snails can grow up to 3-4 inches as adults, making them a long-term companion for your tank.
Why They Are Special:

Peaceful Scavengers: They clean up leftover food and detritus without harming plants (if well-fed).

Slow Reproduction: Unlike pest snails, they produce only one baby at a time, so they will never overrun your tank.

Active Behavior: Watch them “hop” along the bottom using their muscular foot!
⚠️ Important Water Parameters: These snails require hard, alkaline water to maintain their shells. They are NOT suitable for soft-water Crystal Red/Black tanks.
